This was once a meditteranean community of fishers and monks appearing only to be a small village out of the Middle Ages. Cannes, however, developed rapidly expanding into the 19 th century thanks to Lord Brougham, a master-builder of palaces and fine residencies at the time.

It was then, in 1880, when the Golden Tulip Cannes Hotel de Paris building was constructed in a very fine Victorian style. The hotel, owned by the Lazzari family since the 1960's, welcomes you in its castle and old stone style to enjoy its renewed ambiance in the 21 st century.
